While the media number debt is $35 trillion give or take - I was a CPA - and the US Treasury has different numbers. Assets of $5 Trillion which includes receivable for student loans and liabilities of $46 trillion which DOES NOT include Social Security which they report as Revenue - NOT a liability.

Secondly. The Stock Market. The stock market is governed by the trilogy - BlackRock, State Street and Vanguard. They ALL own the same stocks. They all trade amongst each other to 'artificially manipulate the market'. It is a Ponzi scheme like no other ever.

Thank you for your comment with these figures. You are absolutely right. The actual debt figure in this country is far beyond the $35T the U.S. govt. owes on its bonds. It is indeed the biggest Ponzi scheme in history. Now, with the stagnation of the dollar it is starting to come crashing down. I used the $35T to make a point but it's all much much worse.

From a financial perspective - it is the primary causation of decline.

I was raised to have no debt. I raised my boys to have no debt. Debt is what the Cartel will use to destroy the mainstream ... I don't judge them - they just didn't - know.

Oh - I might add - the DoD has two sets of books. Like the Mafia. And the one that includes mercenaries and drug cartels of the CIA are part and parcel of the lost Trillions. Gold and Cash being the form of 'payment'. According to a 'mercenary' with a loose tongue.

Yes, and heroin was once a currency of choice. Don't know if it is anymore.

Don't know about that. Although I have been witness to a number of lost souls from my generation who succumbed. I am no saint - but that realm fortunately alluded me. When I was 16 my dad sent me to a finishing school in France for The Arts. When I came back - just about everyone I knew was deeply entrenched. I became the nerd dancer.

I understand making a point. And your point was the financial depravity that consumes us - whatever the numbers - it is horrific. I agree - I think 'we' agree, and that is all that matters. I just don't see a way out of it... as an accountant/cpa. I don't feel like it is a possibility. And therein is my conundrum. I am solution oriented.

But I do appreciate you just talking with me. That I do.

There has to be an implosion and collapse. None of the presidential candidates has a clue about what to do. I've got a major article in the works and will send you a copy. Thanks for writing.
